Welcome to the New Zealand Survey of University Academics.
Kia ora! We’re part of the international research group APIKS (the Academic Profession in the Knowledge Society). We want to hear from academics in all New Zealand universities to get a comprehensive picture of academic life in Aotearoa. Scroll down for more information.

Why?
Academics have the ability to shape disciplinary boundaries and contribute to New Zealand’s ‘knowledge society’ but they are often overlooked in research on the future of tertiary education.
Who?
We want to hear from everyone who teaches and researches in New Zealand universities. If you work at a university and identify as an academic, you’re eligible to complete the survey.
When?
The survey closed in early 2020. In time, we hope to expand this research into a longitudinal project, so stay tuned!
